The Joint Committee on Public Health's March 4th Oversight Hearing on Coronavirus Response Efforts in the Commonwealth. You can read the report here. As you know, mitigation efforts with regard to COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, are underway at a state and local level here in Massachusetts. Please tune in tonight at 6:00pm for Lexington's Coronavirus Virtual Forum hosted by the Lexington Office of Public Health and the Lexington Public Schools to discuss what we know and how we are responding to this continuing global public health concern.
Thank you to all who attended yesterday's event with AG Maura Healey and Congresswoman Katherine Clark. It was a fantastic time with a great turnout of more than 75 people. Like me, I'm sure you all enjoyed hearing from Maura and Katherine about their work and priorities, and I really enjoyed speaking with you and fielding all of the good questions you had for me.
We're only a few days away from our Winter Fundraising Reception in Lexington. I am honored to have Congresswoman Katherine Clark, Attorney General Maura Healey, and State Senators Michael Barrett and Cindy Friedman as special guests and co-hosts of the event. I hope you'll join us for a fun afternoon! Here are the details:
I can't believe how fast 2020 is flying by! In just six and a half short months, we will be on the ballot for our first re-election campaign. While we continue to push a bold policy agenda, there's much work to do on the campaign.

And, if you missed my Thanksgiving blog post, please check it out for a review of this year's legislative accomplishments here in the House of Representatives. I hope you have had a wonderful holiday. Two weeks ago, I reached out to you about our critical end-of-year fundraising deadline. Here's an update:
I hope you're having a wonderful December and are enjoying this holiday season. As the year winds down, I am taking a moment to reflect on 2019 and my first year as State Representative for the 15th Middlesex District.
As we head into Thanksgiving, I want to wish you and your families the best for time spent with loved ones reflecting on the year. Hopefully many of you have met or interacted with my phenomenal Legislative Aide, Mason Heilman, without whom I'd have a tough time juggling all the work happening in the office. He and I share a passion for government and gardening, and it has been a treat to grow plants in our State House windowsill and share in the gourd harvest from his community garden plot!
