I hope you and your family are doing well as the corona virus pandemic continues to affect all of our lives in ways big and small. Some have experienced tremendous loss--of loved ones, of businesses, of financial security, routines, and our sense of normalcy. Others, while having to make adjustments to the flow of day-to-day life, are likely experiencing anxiety and worry but also maybe some joys that might not have otherwise come along.

The Joint Committee on Public Health's March 4th Oversight Hearing on Coronavirus Response Efforts in the Commonwealth. You can read the report here. As you know, mitigation efforts with regard to COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, are underway at a state and local level here in Massachusetts. Please tune in tonight at 6:00pm for Lexington's Coronavirus Virtual Forum hosted by the Lexington Office of Public Health and the Lexington Public Schools to discuss what we know and how we are responding to this continuing global public health concern.
Thank you to all who attended yesterday's event with AG Maura Healey and Congresswoman Katherine Clark. It was a fantastic time with a great turnout of more than 75 people. Like me, I'm sure you all enjoyed hearing from Maura and Katherine about their work and priorities, and I really enjoyed speaking with you and fielding all of the good questions you had for me.

I can't believe how fast 2020 is flying by! In just six and a half short months, we will be on the ballot for our first re-election campaign. While we continue to push a bold policy agenda, there's much work to do on the campaign.
I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on 2019 while looking forward to 2020 with intention!
