House Passes Legislation to Support and Honor Veterans
BOSTON – Yesterday, days before the nation celebrates Veterans Day on November 11,
Representative Richard M. Haggerty (D-Woburn) and Representative Michelle Ciccolo (DLexington),
along with their colleagues in the House of Representatives, voted to unanimously
pass two pieces of legislation, which would improve mental health care for student veterans and
honor the military service contributions of a female American Revolutionary War soldier.
