What's been happening down in Boston?

​With days jam packed as a legislator, I find I have about a quarter of the time I wish I did to attend events and keep you updated on my whereabouts!

Woburn Senior Center - Attended the Woburn Senior Center Fall Resource Fair with the Woburn Delegation. I have the best colleagues-Sen. Friedman & Rep. Haggerty are 💯!

​Legislator, Advocate, and Committee - In what I am coming to realize is the quintessential Beacon Hill photograph, here I am on September 25th presenting on one of my bills, H.180, with the inimitable Larry Field, Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance.

Cranberry Bog Tour - I couldn't ask to be part of a better "Freshman Class" of Reps in the House--Earlier this month, my colleagues Rep. LaNatra and Rep. Orrall facilitated a tour of the cranberry bogs near Wareham for us fellow new legislators and our staff!

Climate Strike Comes to Boston - Many thanks to Henri from LHS who graciously loaned me his Climate Strike sign for display in my office, and to his mother, Henrietta, who facilitated getting it to me--a tremendous addition to my decor!

Lexington Children's Place Opening - While I had the opportunity to present a citation from the General Court honoring the occasion, it was the hard work of Lexington Superintendent Dr. Julie Hackett, School Committee Chair Eileen Jay, and so many others who brought to fruition this special space for Lexington's students.
