Thank you to all who attended yesterday's event with AG Maura Healey and Congresswoman Katherine Clark. It was a fantastic time with a great turnout of more than 75 people. Like me, I'm sure you all enjoyed hearing from Maura and Katherine about their work and priorities, and I really enjoyed speaking with you and fielding all of the good questions you had for me.
We're only a few days away from our Winter Fundraising Reception in Lexington. I am honored to have Congresswoman Katherine Clark, Attorney General Maura Healey, and State Senators Michael Barrett and Cindy Friedman as special guests and co-hosts of the event. I hope you'll join us for a fun afternoon! Here are the details:
I can't believe how fast 2020 is flying by! In just six and a half short months, we will be on the ballot for our first re-election campaign. While we continue to push a bold policy agenda, there's much work to do on the campaign.
Today, I'm writing to once again say THANK YOU for your continued support. That's why I hope you'll join me and other members of our team for a Thank You Ice Cream Social next Tuesday, August 20th!
I wanted to send a brief reminder about my Downtown Fundraising Breakfast tomorrow morning. I hope you will join me!
Last summer, we hired more than 20 interns to both help out with the campaign and create an opportunity for our young people to learn about public policy and the political process. It was so successful that upon election, I committed to continuing a robust internship program so our students could learn and engage at the State level. Mentoring the next generation of leaders is one of the most important things we can do as a society to ensure a positive future for all.
Tomorrow is Discovery Day in Lexington, and we are closing down Massachusetts Avenue to enhance the festivities as we celebrate one of the most fun and dynamic days of the year in town! Throw on some sunscreen and stop by my booth just outside Depot Square on Mass Ave to discuss current topics at the State House, meet my Legislative Aide, get help with state agencies, or just say hi. We will be there all day!
With just over a month left before I am sworn in to the 191st General Court, I am pleased to host my first office hours as 15th Middlesex Representative-elect. Please join me, retiring Representative Jay Kaufman, Senator Cindy Friedman, and 30th Middlesex Representative-elect Rich Haggerty to ask questions, discuss policy, or talk about issues important to you.
The heat and humidity of the summer may be at its peak, but that's only getting our campaign more determined! Next Wednesday, August 1, 2018, we're going to be taking a break from knocking on doors for a few hours for an exciting campaign event in Lexington. I hope you'll join me for a fun evening with your friends and neighbors. Here are the details: I hope you'll have the opportunity to attend, learn more about our campaign, and get involved!
I wanted to check in to give everyone some exciting updates on our campaign!
