Climate Resolutions 2020

Between Greta Thunberg and our local youth activists, I hope that you too have been as inspired as I have to take action to preserve our planet. As they have shown us, we must take necessary steps to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and reduce waste.

With 44% of emissions coming from the transportation sector, it is clear we need bold and transformative change in this critical area. To that end, I am pleased that the House will be addressing transportation finance imminently. Out and About

Last month, I joined Governor Charlie Baker, Chair of the Lexington Board of Selectmen Doug Lucente, and Lexington Town Manager Jim Malloy to celebrate ThermoFisher Scientific's new investments in Lexington, which will allow them to accelerate advancements in gene therapy.
