My First Year!

My first anniversary as YOUR Representative for the 15th Middlesex District in the General Court truly snuck up on me. Time really does fly when you're having fun!

Year One!

As fast as time flies here on Beacon Hill, my first anniversary as YOUR Representative for the 15th Middlesex District in the General Court truly snuck up on me. Time really does fly when you're having fun, and as you can see below, I have been having an absolute ball doing the important work of democracy!
 
Looking back on last year's results, I still find them hard to believe. Being the first female to ever represent Lexington in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, I am honored to have received so much support not only during my time here in the General Court, but during my campaign as well. With the help of an amazing team, I won the five-way primary with 56% of the vote. Happily, the November election in 2018 was a great one not only for me, but for women up and down the ballot in the 15th Middlesex District. As you can see from the chart below, the women outpaced even the nation's most popular governor in the General Election!

A Year in Review

From hearings to parades to rallies to strikes to ribbon cuttings (ribbons cutting?), it has been a tremendous privilege working for you in the Massachusetts General Court.
 
Right: Today, on my one year anniversary, I testified with Senator Cindy Friedman before the Joint Committee on Transportation in favor of legislation we filed that would establish Transit Improvement Districts. You can follow that bill HERE.
